I purchased this for a single shot .45-70 handgun. I guess I wanted to see if quality could be inexpensive. It looks nice but seems light weight. It was difficult to get it set correctly because at different magnifications the reticule looked like it lined up differently with the gun. I bore sighted it and then took it to the range. Not at all on the paper @ 25 yards. After 2 shots the objective glass cracked along the edge. After 3 shots the view was noticeably blurry. I thought it was my eyes. After 4 shots the objective housing came off and landed somewhere behind me and was found later by another shooter. This might be good on a .357 Mag or a .22 lr but I wouldn't use it on anything big.

Great LER Scope. Good clear optics, compact, and nice looking. Mounted on a TAPCO 10-22 stock, Burris rings. Great setup for my twin boys. Seems to take abuse that kids put .22 plinkers thru.

Pros:  Low price, quality constructions
Cons:  Couldn't find any so far
Would recommend:  yes

This scope is a tremendous value. Set up is a cinch and windage and elevation adjusments can be performed either using a screw driver or by simmple pressing one's thumb against the adjustment screws and turning it the required amount of clicks. Zooming is effortless and does not require refocusing. The rings are very adequate and when tightened correctly won't easily lose zero. This scope is mounted on a Mosin Nagant M44 shooting heavy ball ammo (182 grain machine gun load). The recoil on this rifle is rather large but this scope takes this punishment without problems. No adjustments were necessary after 300 rounds so far. It even includes transparent lens covers. I whole-heartedly recommend this scope, esp. for fellow Mosin enthusiasts. Money well spent!!!

Pros:  Low price, clarity
Cons:  2 pc tube construction
Would recommend:  yes

This scope is pretty good for such an inexpensive piece of optics. It is clear, it maintains its focus while you changing magnification. It is also capable of sustaining a quite energetic recoil of Mosin carbine. The scope also includes a pair of rings. The quality of the rings is very low to say polightly. Profile of the base does not fit standard Weaver mount, screws are too short, holding nuts faces are not even machined true. I was able to use them only by re-machining the defective parts and using shims. Overall I am still satisfied with the scope. Rings are just a free addition to it. If it is free, I guess, you cannot reasonably expect it to be good.
