Since I've bought my Mini-14 Ranch Rifle, this is the third scope mount I've bought, (the first was a B-Square side mount, the second was the ruger scope rings). It is by far the best, most stable, and most adaptable I've seen for the Mini-14 Ranch. You can put a 3x9 variable scope on for longer range targets, take it off fairly quickly and put on a red-dot for close in targets.
