What a feast for the eyes. This lens has almost no distortion from edge to edge and transmits brilliant color. I bought this to help with knife sharpening, for which this loupe is more than adequate, but it is just plain fun looking at flowers and leaves and lithographic printing with the loupe. It costs a lot, but after a lifetime of looking at the world through eyeglasses made with so-so optics, a loupe like this one is a breath of fresh air.
