I tried the scope out at the range quite a bit before taking it into the woods and it never lost zero.The scope focuses well with close or long range targets. It has crystal clear glass, and it transmits light very well, wich is a big help in the early morning or just before time to climb out of the stand at dark. If you can spend the extra cash on a nikon, then I reccomend you do so. You won't be disappointed.

The "spot on" online program that Nikon has is a great feature too. Punch your bullet type, brand, and caliber and your have all the info you need to make a shot at any distance.
