A very sharp view with 3D effect, and no rolling ball effect. Both very beneficial in birding. Very good depth of view so you don't have to focus as much. The focus knob is very smooth. You might want to replace the Nikon objective covers which are a bit too tight. I replaced them with the Butler Creek flip-up objective covers (size number 26). They fit the SE 8x32 nicely and are far more convenient to use. Just remember, with all porro prism binorculars, you need to adjust the interpupilary distance when switching focus from near to very far (many people don't realize this). This is a tremendous binocular for birding or looking at the moon.
Pros: Excellent all around
Cons: None considering the reasonal price
