So far holding setup very well on high recoil rifle. Only thing that would make it better would be a 2 mil dot size - but even with out it - it's a great sight. Pros:  The VSD and the clarity of the optics are great.
Cons:  The mounting system on this unit is poor..it will not stand recoil

The scope walks backwards on the mounts after 50 rounds and no matter how tight I make the mounting screws it still does. Nikon is sending me an extra set of mounting screws to try and keep it in place. I guess I expected more from a company like Nikon. A 22 mag is about the largest caliber I would recommend using this scope on.
