Pros:  Well made, good fit, good length
Cons:  Minor, but the lettering at the side should be indexed to be at the bottom when installed on scope; higher price than what it should be
Would recommend:  yes

I purchased this for a Nikon Monarch 4-16X42SF. At higher magnifications, this sunshade comes in handy to cut down on glare. I think that Nikon should either include this accessory with that scope as they do on at least one other model, or the price should be a little more reasonable. The Monarch scopes are a great value for the money -- the accessories should be the same way. Note also that the price on this accessory is $3 less than the amount you need from Optics Planet to get free shipping.
