Very Happy

by Clearriverguy, from United States, ID Written on January 28, 2015
These worked very well on a Windham Carbine. They fit very nicely. I like the adjustability they allow you for proper eye relief and weapon operation. The quality seems excellent. Of course I was not trying to twist off any screws but I tightened them down to my satisfaction without any problems....

Good Luck with these

by Tom, from United States, TX Written on December 26, 2014
The first set of rings I ordered would not slide over the rail on my sons DPMS. I thought maybe it was a one time issue and I needed a set for his birthday so I modified the rings to fit. A few months later I ordered another set, they were half the price of the M-223, for my Redx upper and they would not fit either. I sent the second set back. Maybe they will work on yours and maybe they wont, if you have the time and desire to experiment I wish you good luck....
Pros:
  • cost
Cons:
  • Fit
  • Time

P-series mount

by BobT, from United States, LA Written on December 14, 2014
Not bad, but like the burris mount better... tho more expensive.
Well built, good finish. Would rather hex nuts for torque wrench use over hex key type bolts.
Got it in a bundle deal with a Nikon scope, in this case I would suggest purchasing, other-wise wait till the Burris mount goes on sale.

Good budget mount I guess....
Pros:
  • price, was on sale
Cons:
  • Loose fit
Best Used for:
  • p series scopes

Two pc Nikon P-series mount

by Tom, from United States, OK Written on October 30, 2014
I read several reviews on this product and did my research because I needed this type of scope mount to put a short scope on my mini 14. Some said they had problem with it mounting on the rail..not sliding. This one worked very well and worked on the scope also. I would recommend this Nikon product....
Pros:
  • Works great
  • Works great for intended purpose
Cons:
  • None

Nikon P-series Mount

by WadCutter, from United States, CA Written on October 24, 2014
The mount is loose on the rail and cannot be tightened. The hardware through the mount only centers the mount on the rail but has no provision to make the mount solid. Most mounts that I have seen are two piece so they can be tightened to the rail. Poor design but nice mount that can be easily modified if your into that kind of a thing....
Pros:
  • Well made, good price
Cons:
  • can't tighten to rail
Best Used for:
  • mounting scopes

Just a little squeeze!

by Ron, from United States, AK Written on October 7, 2014
I like this mount, a lot. Others have noted that one or both are too tight to fit on the rail and must be filed to fit. One of mine was quite tight but I did not want to file through the protective anodized and died layer. What I found was that if you place the dovetailed end of the mount in a padded vice and GENTLY squeeze it, it will separate the dovetail enough so that the mount will easily slide into place. No filing is needed. This might take several tries. You only want to spread the dovetail enough to just slip fit over the rail.
This mount offers as much variation in placement as you could hope for. It allows more room for the mounting of back up sights than any other mount I have looked at. If there is no room at the far rear of the mount you can place the rear back up sight in front of the rear mount and still have a good sight radius.
Build quality is very good. The term "for the money" really doesn't apply here in my humble opinion. I'd say it's well worth the cost and equal to other mounts costing more. I like it much better than the one piece....

Very Good Scope Mount

by KenM, from United States, SC Written on October 6, 2014
Used this mount to put a Nikon P-223 scope on an M&P-15 tactical. If found the price to be very good for this mount. Additionally, it was very easy to mount the scope onto the rifle. The two piece mount (in my opinion) makes it a very versatile mount for a rifle w/a picatinny mount and scopes of varying lengths....
Pros:
  • Price
  • Quality
  • Easy to mount
  • Versatile
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Picatinny rails

Nikon P-Series Mount

by Jim, from United States, VA Written on October 4, 2014
One of the two mounts did not first fit onto the picatinny rail of my M4 until I did a bit of filing of the groves of the mount. However, once on the rail, it worked as advertised for the mounting of my Nikon P-223 3x32 BDC Carbine Rifle Scope....

AR rings, P-Series Nikon Split Mounts

by RMS, from United States, HI Written on September 8, 2014
Really well made, and beautifully finished. Hard to see in pictures but the base does not have removable locking plates. Need to slide on rail and in my case my rails are pinned in, front & back, as well as screwed in, so installation is much more complicated. Would have given 5 stars if had this feature....
Pros:
  • Well made, good price
Cons:
  • None

Decent quality, good price, fit my scope/AR-15

by Sean, from United States, CA Written on August 26, 2014
I mounted a Bushnell AR optics 4.5x18x40mm onto a stag arms super varminter using these rings. I've had some minor issues with screws loosing (manual warns against overtightening), and I could only mount the scope in one configuration (both rings extending out from the middle). I was happy to get it mounted, eye relief is acceptable, but in hindsight I might have considered paying the extra $$ for a nicer single mount (LaRue, Burris, etc)....
