Decent quality, good price, fit my scope/AR-15

by Sean, from United States, CA Written on August 26, 2014
I mounted a Bushnell AR optics 4.5x18x40mm onto a stag arms super varminter using these rings. I've had some minor issues with screws loosing (manual warns against overtightening), and I could only mount the scope in one configuration (both rings extending out from the middle). I was happy to get it mounted, eye relief is acceptable, but in hindsight I might have considered paying the extra $$ for a nicer single mount (LaRue, Burris, etc)....

P-223 Scope Mount

by fledge, from United States, GA Written on July 30, 2014
This mount is great for the AR-15. It mounts great using a carry handle adapter for a scope. It allows you to use your iron sights while having your P-223 Nikon Scope mounted atop your carry handle. It is easy to mount your P-223 Scope with this mount as they are made to work together. If you buy a P-223 Scope you need to purchase this mount with it....

I've had this mount on a 18" 223 AR with a nikon p223 scope. works great, no complaints as of yet with over 300 rounds through it. Seems to be made of great quality.

Only Way To Go

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on October 21, 2013
The mounts are necessary for the P-223 scope. The P-223 scope is really an excellent value. Went shot for shot with an expensive Tricon yesterday and actually liked the P-223 better.
Pros: Got to have these with the scope
Cons: Don't buy the Wheel Crosshair...

Solid and Lightweight

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on July 18, 2013
I was surprised that these were one of the lightest mound around. I really like that you are able to flip the mounts forward or backward to accommodate different rifle configurations. I read some reviews elsewhere that stated you could not mount theses with buis which is false because my magpul mbus fit nicely right below my p 223 3x32. My only issue is that I wish Nikon would make these in a quick detach mount.
Pros: solid, lightweight, affordable
Cons: not quick detach...

Nice!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, CA Written on July 4, 2013
If you are looking for a cantilevered mount set-up for a compact scope then look no further. I was having problems getting proper eye relief on a scout rifle ... by using this mount I was able to reduce the eye relief distance by about an an inch and that was exactly what I needed. Great product and good price
Pros: great design for the intended purpose
Cons: none...

Good Rings for my AR

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, VA Written on May 10, 2013
Mounted a Nikon 1-4x20 on my S&W M&P 15. Scope and rings are a good combo; the scope is a good height (absolute co-witness height if I could fit an iron sight with the scope mounted) with these rings. Took some patience and trial and error to get the scope adn rings where I wanted them, but they are very solid. In fact, I waaayyyy overtightened them at first, but no harm seems to have been done.
Pros: $30 cheaper than Nikon or Burris' one piece mounts
Cons: Takes patience to mount....
