ProStaff Bino Harness

by Colgatesmile, from United States, NC Written on January 20, 2015
Comfortable fit. Not yet field tested.
Agree with other reviews regarding no instructions. Hopeful the flimsy tabs that came with it for attatching bino's to harness will standup to time. I did not receive the rings ahown in the pic and the camo is definately different than that shown. My Nikon patch on the back is black and not yellow like the pic shows....

Nikon Pro-Staff Harness

by williamsinger, from United States, MI Written on December 21, 2014
I have had this particular harness for a few years now. And like it so much, that I bought one for my hunting buddy for Christmas. Keep your binocs right close to your chest, and not dangling around. Like in a tree-stand when leaning. I have always believed that anything that can possibly go wrong, while trying to shoot a big buck, WILL go wrong at the crucial moment. So a harness is just one less thing to worry about, and keep the optics at the ready. The only reason I knocked one star off is the straps do tend to get a little turned around from time to time. Probably my fault anyways. Would highly recommend to anyone....

Great Harness

by JJ, from United States, CA Written on October 14, 2014
A must for anyone using 10x or higher binos while traveling through the field. Comes in black or camo and is extremely comfortable. Straps are one size fits all and easily adjustable on the fly. Allows your hands to be free and relieves the weight of your binos off of just your neck. After a full day in the field your neck will thank you....

Nikon ProStaff Bino Harness

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, PA Written on May 13, 2012
These things work great. It is really the only way to carry binoculars. If you are using the single strap that comes with the binoculars you really need to buy these. Plus, Nikon makes great products. I have the nikon action 8x binoculars. The camo pattern is the same on the binoculars and the harness.
Pros: keeps your binoculars where you want them, close to your body
Cons: none really...

Nikon Bino Harness

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on September 25, 2011
Looked at a few other brands and the Nikon came in the camo pattern I wanted. All brands I looked at had plastic clips, should hold up under normal use. We'll see.
Pros: Easy set up, APG camo, good price/value
Cons: Hope plastic clips hold up...

great except getting binoculars attached tricky -- no directions

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on June 20, 2011
The little rings and tie downs to attach my Nikon Monarch were enclosed, but there were no diagrams or written directions to get them attached.

I had been warned to by a Nikon harness because of attaching issues.

I figured it out, with the help of birder colleagues, but directions would have been appreciated.

Also a nuisance that California sales tax didn't seem to be charged, so I have to save receipts for tax time next year to pay "use tax."
Pros: does the job, easy to use...

Nikon Bino Harness (6122) Realtree apg camo

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, SC Written on September 2, 2010
Harness keeps your binos handy when you need them. Elastic straps allows you to pull bino's up to look. My Nikon Monarch bino's still look new, due to always using this harness.
Pros: Distribution of weight of bino's, adjustable, nice camo
Cons: Expected better attachment to binoculars fron Nikon...
