by vashooter93, from United States, VA Written on December 22, 2014
I bought this scope on a cyber monday deal and put it on a savage mark ii for my wife she loves it. Tracks very well and is holding a zero. We have been using it as a target scope and she hit consistent lyrics up to 250 yrds. Very good scope for the money....

Great optic

by Josh, from United States, IN Written on December 21, 2014
I purchased this Nikon scope to go on top of a Savage Mark II FV-SR. I mounted on some Leupold medium height rings and so far it's been an awesome optic for this rifle. Scope is very clear even with some sun glare. First range trip I sighted in at 50 and first round was surprisingly only about 2" low. A quick adjustment and it was on the money. 2nd trip was today and I went straight to 200 yards today, adjusted for 43" of drop as what Nikon Spot On recommended and was hitting low, adjusted up another 7 clicks for 50 total from original zero and it was tearing it up at 200 yards. Best group was about 2 inches shooting off a bipod with bulk (M22) ammo. Another great Nikon purchase! Was a great deal when purchased after Thanksgiving!...
Pros:
  • Clear
  • budget friendly
  • Consistent
  • Re-Zeroing Turrets
  • Easy adjustments
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Anything on a .22!

Nikon Prostaff Rimfire Riflescope - 3-9x40mm

by spuddybuddy, from United States, ID Written on December 20, 2014
Best price and scope for price. Clear and accurate. Bullet Drop Compensator is fantastic. once you use this other scopes seem inferior. . Normally need to use a higher mount to co withness 22lr so you don't have to remove rear sight. I have bought 2 from optic planet. One for a ruger 22 American magnum and one for ruger 22lr rimfire. both are Bolt action. Fits fantastic on American Ruger series. Can't beat price anywhere. plus free shipping??? Buy a couple....

Excellent 22 rimfire scope

by David Little, from United States, WA Written on December 3, 2014
Got the Burris rings also from OP and mounted them (easy) and then the scope (easy) onto the rail of my Sig Sauer 522 and took it to the range today. Easy to dial in with the excellent turrets and was shooting in the bulls-eye very quickly. This is an excellent product, feels solid works like a charm and a great price from OP. This is my first rifle scope - was using a red dot. Love this scope!...

Scope was just what I ordered worked great.I put this on a Ruger 10-22. It would have been nice if rings were included but I was able to purchase rings without much trouble.Didn't really care for the weaver rings but they seem to work okay....

nikon rimfire 3x9

by TW, from United States, VA Written on October 16, 2014
This is a very nice scope, Very clear optics. The scope is a little large and heavy for a Ruger 10/22, but it is worth it if you want to shoot longer than 50 yards. This is a very nice scope at a really good price. I have several nikon pro staff scopes, and they have never disappointed me....
Pros:
  • Very sharp and clear
Cons:
  • heavy and large
Best Used for:
  • 22 rifle
