Just spent a deer season with this scope on my Model 70 270 WSM. Clarity was exceptional no matter what the weather was. And we have ALL types of weather here in NC. Just can't beat it for the $$$$ spent. I'm getting me another one.

I think that thsi sis the buy of the usmmer, I have nikon binoculars and I am so happy with the lens in them that this is the reason that I bought a rifle scope from nikon because of the quality of their products.

This scope is a great value for the money. Nikon is always a leader in optics.

Serious optical instruments, just as Nikon claims. Affordable to boot! This series of scopes is as reliable and functional as those costing two and three times as much and their brightness and clarity greatly exceed that of others in the same price range. I have owned all three in the series (3-9X40, 2-7X32 and 4X rimfire) for several years without issue. Don't be fooled by the fact these scopes are entry-level....they are still Nikons and come with a lifetime full warranty. My only beef is that the windage/elevation screws are of the old type (screwdriver needed) versus finger adjustable. But regardless, they are awesome scopes!
