Still, you should be aware of this before you buy. Other than that, these binoculars are super. Everything about these binoculars is what I hoped for, except for the focusing mechanism. There is a at least 3/4" inch of slop in the focusing wheel. I thought I just got a defective pair and returned them for a new pair. Same thing. For this reason only I cannot recommend them. Save your money for the Monarch's, they are awesome.
