Pros:  Very powerful, quality optics
Cons:  Very big, you won't be moving it around the room often

I can clearly see whales several miles out in the channel, and the detail on ships is amazing. Looking into the night sky, I aimed at what I figured was a planet just below the crescent moon. It turned out to be Jupiter, and I could easily see five of its moons! I am very satisfied with this instrument.
