Nearly Perfect

by SteveK, from United States, AR Written on January 21, 2015
Great bag, almost perfect - wich it had velcro straps inside to secure weapon.Love the exterior pockets, holds clips, extra ammo, etc. Good padding, feel secure that optics won't get beat up. Well balanced, easy to carry. Also makes a good shooting pad....

Functional, great value!

by PistolGumby, from United States, NJ Written on January 3, 2015
I'm using this shorter get up for my Keltec Su16CA, a backpacking .223/.556 rifle - and there is plenty of room to spare in the folded position. Decent quality and bang for buck. Lots of pockets for mags as illustrated - velcro is slightly off on some of the pockets. Also has a long strap on the other side to sling and carry. It could use a double zipper....

Perfect case for S&W M&P AR-15-22

by ChrisJ, from United States, FL Written on December 23, 2014
Great quality case. It has good padding with a strong zipper. It fits my S&W M&P AR 15-22 with the stock not extended, with iron sights and a light attached, and with a magazine attached perfectly. I am very happy with the quality of this purchase....

  • Plenty of Velcro Pockets for Extras
Cons:
  • None yet!

Great value . . . Nice roomy well padded case at a great price. It could be used universally for several of my long guns and sturdy enough to suit my needs. Would recommend this item to anyone; in fact, I'm considering purchasing another one!...

Commodity with best price

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on June 5, 2014
Everyone makes an AR/MSR case, and this is ours. They are a commodity. Our standard OPMOD case is a great case in a proven design with a lifetime guarantee and rock bottom price. The large one fits my full size R25 .308 and the mag pouches are large enough for the big magazines. This is our improved version with color on color logo and improved hook and loop flap fit. Get a few to match.
Pros: Value...

Great Case

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, IN Written on January 17, 2014
I bought this case for my S&W M&P10 .308 rifle - 40 inches long. Overall, this is a very very well made case - better than a Boyt I've got for a shotgun.
Top:
The webbed carrying handles are strong.
There are 2 zipper pulls (nice touch) that run smooth.
The zipper runs a bit under the case on each side so you can easily fold the case open like a clamshell.
My gun from bottom of the mag to top of scope is 11 inches tall; fits easily into the rifle compartment with no stress on the scope or zippers.
Middle:
There are no restraining straps in the rifle compartment but when the case is closed, the rifle doesn't move much.
The storage compartment is padded and big.
The 4 magazine compartments are mostly 3 inches wide - one is a tad less. I have three 3 inch wide .308 20 round mags that are curved just a bit. I can just squeeze them into the compartments easily if I leave one of the 4 compartments empty; no big deal, there is always the storage compartment.
The sling is attached to the back of the case. The 2 mounts are halfway down each side. This means that when you sling the shoulder pad over your shoulder, the case takes a verticle position on your side - guess this means you won't have to worry about getting through a door. I don't plan on using the sling but it is definitely strong.
Everything about this case if well engineered and strong. I would definitely buy another when needed.

Pros: Strong with adequate padding
Cons: Magazine Compartments tight but I h...

Great Bag for HK MP5 SD .22LR

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on September 15, 2013
I have been recreationally shooting for over 15 years and I purchased this bag for my HK MP5 SD .22LR back in January and have been to the range with it quite a few times. The value for the bag is great, as it appears as well constructed as its Blackhawk equivalent but for much less the cost. It is also fairly light-weight and the padding is generous and will protect your firearm well. Its outer magazine pockets fit the magazines well. Some may not like logos on their bag, but I think the Opmod logo looks nice on it. I would definitely recommend this bag. What would make this bag even better are a few more pockets for small tools (i.e. Allen wrenches) or a cleaning kit. Overall, very happy with it.
Pros: Durable, Well Constructed
Cons: Not enough pouches...

Case for AR 15 type pistols

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on August 27, 2013
All looks real good so far and seems it might do the job for me. Cleaing stuff in zippered pocket and 90 rounds loaded in 3 clips in their pouches and 30 more in the weapon in the case. Might be a real defender in the home for offenders. Ar 15 style pistols work perfect in it with loaded mag in gun. Un zip and let it fip./

Thanks,

Ron
Pros: For my use it is perfect. It would suit me better with the detachable shoulder strap as listed in add.
Cons: Need to change add reguarding removal shoulder strap as is listed. ...
