Great little pack for the $$

by Buddha6, from United States, VA Written on August 13, 2014
While this is not as good a pack as my T.H.E Bag, for the cost it is an extremely good value. I use it as a range bag, with a MOLLE first aid pack attached, and it is simply excellent! For the bucks, it would be hard to beat!...

well made product

by Jorge Vallenzuela, from United States, TX Written on August 1, 2014
Very well made product. Easy to carry and comfortable to wear. Plenty of pockets and lots of room for all your necessities. Strong zippers that appear well made and that will last a long time without any trouble....

good design

by john101st, from United States, TX Written on July 30, 2014
for the hight and width of the pack, it holds a surprising amout of stuff. it is sturdy enough to carry loaded magazinea, mres and carry two handguns. i strapped on a sleeping bag and a small one man tent. it can carry 4 lr-.308 mags, but i am looking for a bandelero to carry the rifle ammunition. i would give it 5 stars but i have not fully field tested it yet. good value...

Great Pack

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, NC Written on July 3, 2014
I had concerns when I read one reviewer said if you have a "bit" of a belly it wasn't big enough.
I am 40 plus inches in the waist. There is plenty of room on the waist adjustment.
If your that big, Its not a belly, Its a gut.
I have several 5.11 bags and have yet to be let down.
Pros: Its a great pack, I use it as my motorcycle carry pack. Easy access to the main body. Lots of pockets!!
Cons: None...

EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on June 9, 2014
After researching other Backpacks and price's,,I have to admit I wasn't sure about the OPMOD,,,after chatting with the awesome people at OpticsPlanet I bought one.. 3 days later my backpack was on my doorstep. I was very impressed with the OPMOD,,,very well made and thought out,,,easy access to the smooth zippers,,,holds a ton of stuff,,& very comfortable to wear,, has attachment points to add more pouches,,and mount it to my KLR-650 if I do not wish to wear it while riding.. Can't please everyone in this world,, but I sure am pleased with this product,,can't beat the price on it either,,, If your looking for a great all around backpack and don't want to spend a ton of money,,Buy the OPMOD,,can't go wrong!

Great bag for hunting and carry on

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on June 5, 2014
I've been using a couple of these bags for the last two years and they've held up well through several hunting trips, EDC, and lots of airline carry on miles. Lots of room, four side zippered pockets, large pocket front bottom and top, and huge inside. It even accepts a hydration bladder. Straps are sturdy and comfortably padded. Waist strap is easily adjusted and removable. Superb value, lifetime OPMOD warranty. Great choice. Give them as gifts, also.
Pros: Large, nice quality, great price!...

Amazing backpack

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on May 7, 2014
This backpack is incredible. I am currently using it for my BOB. I am able to completely fill the pack with all my gear - water filter, knife, fire starter, and more!

The quality of the materials is top notch, this pack easily rivals packs that cost twice as much....

Awesome bag

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 23, 2014
Awesome bag, awesome price. It could easily be priced twice as high with other brands. Other bags in this price range tend to be way too small. This has plenty of space and pockets. Initially I planned to use this as an overnight bag, gym bag, and/or range bag, but after receiving it I ended up replacing my duty bag with it. I'll be buying another one to use outside of work.
Pros: Quality, cost
Cons: None...

Materials and warranty are bad

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on February 21, 2014
I bought one of the packs a couple of years back. the handle tore off seeing that there is not reenfocement. The inner PVC lining tears off in chunks.

I been trying to get a RMA to return it for warranty purposes. I have spoken to and emailed CS . they seem to just pass the buck to someone else that just ignores it. so to me now the warranty does not mean squat.

I have bought from OP in the past. I guess once you get your product, you are on your own.

Pros: Cheap
Cons: material used is bad...

Great Multi-purpose Backpack

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on February 14, 2014
This backpack it just great all around. I've only had it for about two months now but I've used it for everything from hiking, traveling, beach days, motorcycle riding, the range etc. The number of compartments make it really easy to fit a lot of different sized items. I only have two minor complaints so far. One being that the 2 larger compartments have no little pouches to store smaller items (now that's not a deal breaker by any means since you have other smaller compartments to use, just something to consider). The other is that the waist strap is a PIA to adjust! But once it's on and adjusted I have to say that it's one of the best fitting, most comfortable backpacks I've ever had. You sometimes forget it's on. Some others have said that the waist strap is too small for some people so I can see that being an issue. I'm 5'11" and 155 so it's fine for me.
Pros: very versatile, strong and study, lots of room
Cons: no inside pouches or pockets for small items...
