I have bought other pads (Ed Brown, McCormick) the holes matched perfectly with my mags. All differant makes. No problem,Went on fine. I bought the pachmayr pads because of their smaller thickness, easier to carry concealed. The holes did not align. This is not something that should need a gunsmith to install. Very dissapointed

Anyone who has a 1911 and has tried to perform a tactical mag change has an appreciation for magazine bumpers. They increase speed, provide a positive insertion point and protect your hand from getting pinched. These Pachmyr bumpers are very well made, moderate in height and best of all, Pachmyr has included a drill jig that assists in drilling mounting holes. The self tapping screws keep the bumpers in place solidly, especially compared to other brands that use double sided tape. I would definitely recommend.
