The 1910 Pelican flashlight is rated at about half the lumens of most the other AAA flashlights I purchased from amazon and here, 9 total. The size increase, and lumen decrease, compared to the others on "paper" was a disappointment until I turned it on. The extra size is mostly the front reflector, which puts out more usable light if you want to see anything more then a few feet in front of yourself. The other lights were brighter, but at 5-15 feet the light is not focused enough to be usable. The on/off end cap is much easier to use then twisting on/off and pelican did a really nice job with this flashlight, and managed to price it at about half of what the others cost.
