Stick to polymer

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, SC Written on February 18, 2014
Frankly, it is overpriced and relatively fragile. I've sent it for warranty repair twice for the same issue. The threading that attaches the bezel is too thin and will break from light impact. Drop it, it's done. For about $100 dollars, it simply isn't worth it. Save your money and purchase a 7060 or 3330.
Pros: Looks cool.
Cons: Bezel threading is extremely thin and fragile. Not as durable as their polymer lights. ...

I bought this light to mount to a weapon. It is simple in design, on/off mode only. Everyone that has used this light loves it. If things go bad in the night this is the light I want.

Pelican M6 3W 2390

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on April 18, 2010
The Pelican 2390 is a compact, bright and well constructed flashlight. This flashlight fits perfectly in hand and is not too big or bulky. The beam is bright white and is far reaching. I carry this flashlight on my duty belt and it has never failed to impress.

For a general purpose flashlight, there should be no major cons for the purchaser. If you intend to carry this flashlight for duty, be warned, it is too bright if used to read driver's licenses. The light will be over powering and wash out the card.

Overall, this flashlight is highly recommended for LEOs and anyone in need of a compact flashlight with a solid, far reaching beam. Pelican makes great products and you will not be disappointed.

awesome tactical light

I have this mounted on a Daniel Defense QD offset mount for my 6.8 SPC. This is a super bright tight light. I would not hesitate to buy again if I ever see the need.
Pros: Pelican quality, very bright, tight light, great throw
Cons: none...

Gene

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, WI Written on January 4, 2008
I bought this LED light to replace my Surefire light with the standard bulb due to this light's ability to conserve battery power while still maintaining 60+ Lumens of output. As with all Pelican products, it's well made and easy to operate and handle and works very well as a tactical light under the situations asked of it. The only downsides were that it was configured as a flood only beam and that when used for more than 10-20 minutes of constant use, the unit would get hot enough to need gloves to hold it. It performed as I needed it to so I was happy. It also comes with Pelican's Unconditional Lifetime warranty so that it itself is worth the money.
Pros: Well built. Easy to handleand operate.
Cons: Flood type beam only. Unit gets extremely hot after prolonged use....
