Puts out goood, but not great light for the size. For a dive light it is not terribly bright, but I have not used it for that yet. The battery charge seems to last OK based on the general use I have put the light to so far. It is a bit hard to hang on to, so I am concerned about breakage. There is a good tether cord that I recommend using, but it can easily be dropped because it is slick and slides off of its resting place easily. What amkes this light worth it is the waterproofing - 500 ft depth rating. Amazon did a terrible job of describing this item in that regard - I researched that information elsewhere as I cojuld not find itg in the description in the ad. If ther light turns out to be water tight when I scuba dive - probably NEVER deeper than 150 feet it will be wonderful, I think. If it floods, I hope Pelican stands behind it.
Pros: Small and light, good light output
Cons: No shock absorbing materials to protect the lite if it is dropped
