This is one convenient flashlight. It runs a long time on just one AA battery along with a good amount of light. You can attach it to many things with its rotating clip. You would be hard pressed to find another flashlight outperform this one for its low cost of operation. By the way, don't let my comment on the compass bother you, the MOLLE has a lot going for it.

Easily the best flashlight I've ever owned. I've been in the military for 18 years and owned a bunch of different flashlights. I've preferred Pentagon Lights for my duty light and my weapon light. Finding a full size one is easy; but I wanted a good small flashlight for my regular belt for day to day use. I've tried some others, Surefires, Streamlights, Maglights, but it wasn't until I saw the MOLLE light that I was impressed. The light the unit puts out for the size is incredible! The unit snaps to my belt between my cell phone and CRKT and is always ready for use. I've had it now for over a month and still am on my 1st AA battery. I don't bother recommending it to my airmen; once they see it they are sold. Not only would I consider buying another, I plan to.
