Pros:  Superb resolution, very bright, reasonably light, good depth of field, long eye relief

Optically, the Pentax 10x15 DCF ED is the equal of my wonderful Leica 8x42 BA glass, and despite the relatively high magnification has a good depth of field. Mounted on a tripod, the ED makes an excellent glass for locating deer or elk at a distance; in fact, I'm happier with the Pentax in this regard than I am with my vaunted Zeiss 15 x 60 binocular. My sole criticism of the Pentax, and it is a minor one, is that it has a lesser field of view in comparison to many high-end 10X glasses. I must stress that I have not found this issue of practical importance.
