I have Swarovski's and Leica's, as well as several other binoculars, but decided to add these to my collection. Very impressed with them overall. Optical quality is really good. Pentax has chosen to limit the field of view in order to give good edge performance and eye relief. Seem a little bulky/heavy compared to more expensive binocs in this size category, but still very comfortable to hold, and again great optical performance, with the caveat of a smallish field of view. For their price I think they're outstanding. Note: Also own the Pentax 9x28's, very similar to these. While the 9x28's focus smoother (much bigger focusing knob) I prefer the folding design of these. Optically they're really about the same, as far as I can tell.
Pros: Image quality
Cons: Focusing a bit fussy, could be lighter for their size...
