The electronics package is just a bit too big for the plastic cup, and bulges out enough to put pressure on your ears. Thicker ear surrounds would be nice. Only the right cup has padding to prevent stock scratches. Left handers can flip the headset around, but then the microphones are pointed toward the rear with some reduction in audibility of conversation. I have owned Peltor Tac 6 and Radians. Do to the clipping, hissing and cutting out both pair gave me a headache. The Pro Ears Gold were such an improvement I could not believe it. Very comfortable too.
Pros: clarity of sound, never cuts out,
Cons: a bit pricey...
