Holds your pants up!

by Al, from United States, NJ Written on March 26, 2015
Light weight, color faithful to picture. Stays put where you cinch it without slipping and needing to be tightened regularly like others I've bought. Buckle is composite and quiet. Good value as priced. The black one I ordered doesn't stay put as well as the Desert Tan one. There is a spattering of what looks like glue at the belts end on the Tan belt that seems to be absent on the black one. This makes the tan belt stiffer and more inclined to stay put where it was cinched....

Great for casual wear

by Denny, from United States, CT Written on March 7, 2015
First off, don't be mislead by reviews that describe this belt as "military-type" or "very stiff." This belt is nowhere near as sturdy as any of my leather gun belts.
I would not recommend this belt to be used with real firearms because of the nature of the friction buckle employed. However...this is the best 8-dollar belt I have ever
owned !! And that's exactly what it is. An 8-dollar,made in china, skinny nylon web and plastic belt. It adds a really cool tactical flair to my work(car dealer parts guy)uniform. And it holds my pants up really well !! Get one. or more. As always, opticsplanet provides great service....

I When I went through a metal detector recently and it was wonderful not to have to take my belt off and then struggle putting it back on again. I will probably buy a couple more....

I like this belt. Simple, fairly inexpensive, and works good. I have Propper pants that came with this belt.

I liked the pants and belt, so I ordered an extra belt to try on other pants. Deciding the color is the only problem?...

If you're looking for a nylon, military type belt, then this is the right choice. It's inexpensive, easy to use, and sturdy. You can use it to hold your pants up, or to hold holsters, and other gear. I also like it to hold my archery belt quiver....

Nice belt; great value; size accurately (not one size up)

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, VA Written on October 28, 2012
I have a 33" waist and some reviews encouraged me to order the 36" size (one size up). BZZ! Shoulda ordered the 34". Still, it's long enough that I can tuck the end into the second belt loop around. Some reviewers claimed this was TSA-friendly. Ain't no such thing. They still made me take it off to "be sure it wasn't filled with explosives." I'm probably going to order another one in black. For the price, it can't be beat!
Pros: Your basic belt. For the price, can't be beat
Cons: They still make you take it off at the airport!...

Propper Tactical Nylon Belt

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on January 31, 2012
I have 3 of these belts and this one is for my son. It is strong and stiff, so paddle holsters fit perfectly and hold well. It's easy to adjust and the plastic buckle seems to be very strong. This minor flaws in the belt typically are on the edges, which cause them to catch on certain pants. These can be corrected easily if you find one.
Pros: strong, stiff, fits well, and adjusts easily
Cons: some very minor flaws in the material...
