I got these in Dark Red for my 5-year-old son and they are so completely awesome I can hardly stand it. They are a great shape for his heart-shaped face and the color is very classy. My son loves to wear them, which is great because I want his eyes protected outside. As far as sizing goes, my son has a very large head, so I'd say they'd fit most 8-year-olds.
