I have coveted one of these machines for some time. I finally bit the bullet and purchased one. It more than met my expectations. It is fast and accurate. In the past, I used a traditional powder scale to weigh my powder charges. I am anal about the accuracy of my powder charges in my rifle ammunition. I said this machine is fast, here's the example: I set the charge in the machine and place the pan on the platon. I turn to the bench and grab a piece of brass and the funnel. I turn back and the powder charge is weighed or trickling the last grains into the pan. As a double check, I used a second digital scaled to verify the powder charges that were thrown. I set the funnel on the brass, pour the powder charge, replace the pan on the platon and turn back to the press. I seat the round, grab the funnel and the next piece of brass and turn back to the Chargemaster. By this time the next powder charge was thrown in the pan and I repeat the process. I went from a round every several minutes to about a round every 30 seconds to a minute. I also found that the Chargemaster does about equally well with ball and extruded powder. The error I found in my check with the second scale amounted to about one round in ten, and the variation was not more than .1 grain out of spec. This is one fine machine. I load for a number of different rifles and calibers and with the ability to label and recall my loads, this is just the cat's meow.
