Bought this scope for my 580 series Ruger mini 14. Fits well on the rifle with Ruger rings. Scope is sturdy, easy to adjust and has all the appearance of a more expensive model. Very pleased with this scope. Just wish it came with lens cover or soft scope cover. A minor issue.

I was looking for a lightweight variable scope for my AR to use for deer and coyote hunting. This Redfield works perfectly. The dull matte finish doesn't reflect any light. It's lighter than most 3X9 scopes plus the lower 2X is good for close encounters and at 7X I can easily make those longer shots at fox and coyote size game. After mounting and laser sight in, it took only a few shots to dial it in perfectly. Tracking was also right on. Adjustments are easy and doesn't require a coin or screwdriver. Redfield is made here in the US and sells at a good price too.
