The scope has been sent back to Leupold where I am sure that the problem will be corrected and I would buy the Redfield brand again without any hesitation.

So naturally I am comparing them to these scopes which were significantly more money. The eye relief is great no need to inch forward at 9x, adjustments are very easy with finger click adjustments. The the thing I miss from my fancier scopes is the parallax adjustment. Highly recommend this scope.

Pros:  lightweight, power ring adjustment just right
Cons:  not as clear at long range as my vx-3, but costs 1/3rd so I am happy
