Pros: Bright, clear optics, light weight, low price
Cons: Slightly "busy" reticle, red lettering looks cheesy
Would recommend: yes

I put this scope on a Ruger Varmint .22-250, and could scarcely be happier. Easy, easy setup, repeatable adjustments, zero holds throughout power range. I'm still getting used to the Accu-Range reticle, but I think I'm going to like it. For the price, I think this one may be impossible to beat.

Pros: nada
Cons: soft spongy adjustments and offset crosshairs
Would recommend: no
westexhunt wrote:
Windage and Elevation adjustments are soft, not repeatable because there is like a click and a half (feels as strange as my description), then you have slack to turn it back to the previous click, not what I expected. I don't think I could go up 5 clicks and come back with any accuracy. Crosshairs do not make a nice crisp x the lower cross hair does not quite line up with the upper. I have been more impressed with much cheaper scopes. I am returning this one. On top of that I thought I was ordering the accu range and received the 4 plex. Not sure where that got messed up, probably my fault.

Pros: Accu range reticle holds zero through power range
Cons: Past 200 yrds optics just ok, adjustments mushy
Would recommend: yes

I love the accurange reticle it works great with my 25-06. Image not as clear out to 300 yards but still does the job. The elevation and windage adj. a little mushy, but makes accurate adjustments. A solid buy for the money.

Pros: Great Quality at an Affordable Price
Cons: Eye relief is too long for an AR15
Would recommend: yes
Joe Elliott wrote:
I have adjust my scope twice and the eye relief is too much for my liking. That being said I am used to an ACOG on my M4 and the M68CCO so I am not used to regular scope eye relief. This scope is crystal clear and well built. I look forward to putting it on a 20in fixed stock .308 build in the future. Too much scope for an 16in .223 carbine.

I'm a cheepskate that wants a 600.00 scope for 200.00. Well, this is the closest thing that fits the bill. After 20 years of pistol shooting, I came back to the rifle with prompting from a friend. I soon picked up where I left off and bought a Savage 10FP & topped it with a Revolution 4-12x40 with the AccuReticle. I never believed an inexpensive scope could allow me to consistantly hit at 600-800 yards. I experiemented with the magnification and BDC as it relates to the points of impact and made sure to record these adjustments in my shooting log. By adjusting the magnification, the Accu reticle & BDC can be used in conjunction with each other to eliminate doping the turret for quick shots at specific ranges(out to 600 yards). This makes it REAL easy to place an ethical kill shot for the hunter. I can only imagine what this scope would be like with target turrets.

Purchased one of these for my model 700 to replace a China made scope which I paid 200$...Solid repeatable adjustment (the most important thing for a scope to have) Fire a string, move the crosshairs to maximum adjustment, move them back exact clicks. Right on target....try that with your 500$ Philipines scope. Made by Americans for Americans. You can't go wrong. Lifetime warranty Leupold is know for.

This is my second Redfield scope. The other one is the 2-7X33. Redfield scopes are excellent quality for half the price. I mounted it on my 243 Weatherby and it is a perfect match. Excellent target acquisition. I really like the Accu-range reticle. I highly recommend this product and Optics Planet!
