The finish is very smooth and snagless, and rides nice and close to the body, adding to its concealmment capability. The only issue I've had, and it needs to be the way it is so I'm not complaining, is that it takkes some work to use the paddle. It is VERY tight, leaving the holster very secure, mut it does make it a pain to put it on or take it off your pants. On a positive note, a bad gut isn't pulling it off either!

It also has the same locking/retention system as the Blackhawk Serpa Holsters, but the release button is hidden and can be activated while wearing thick heavy gloves on those cold winter nights. I needed a retention holster that also accommodated the Crimson Trace laser grips. I'm really glad I found this holster.
