Safariland Weapon Light

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on August 9, 2012
I've used several "tactical" lights in the last 25-30 years of military and Law Enforcement duty and this is by far the best. The batteries will give 50+ hours of use, and the belt attachment allows you to carry it on a Sam Brown type duty belt or you can use the clip on your regular belt. Bright, small and awesome!!! I've put it on my M4 carbine and my Sig 229. I never leave home without it, on or off duty. As someone else said, its a great "bump in the night" light.
Pros: Uses AAA batteries, swings to right or left of weapon
Cons: none...

Meets Expectations & More

I have loved this lite since I installed it on my Glock 19. It,s quick to get on or off and uses standard batteries....seems like a real quality product. I also use it off my weapon for checking those bumps in the night !
Pros: Uses standard size batteries
Cons: none...

Easy On Easy Off

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on April 13, 2012
Great light for those who want a high power light(90 lumen according to the package, not 65 as noted by optics planet) but not so powerful that you can't use it for close in work. Mounts easily with full length barrel guns, some compacts like the S&W M&P, don't have enough rail to mount this. Nice that you don't need a dedicated holster. Does come with a belt clip to keep the light accessible quickly. Great that light can be used on either side of the gun. Weight does cant the gun a bit but doesn't affect my shooting. Nice that it uses AAA size batteries, too.
Pros: Quick on and off, Works for right or left handers
Cons: Not for compacts with short rails...

Great Versatile Light!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, IN Written on January 19, 2012
It gives off bright white light and the RLS truly allows for rapid deployment. Give your sights a blast of light before you attach it and go. The light falls right in place to be activated with the thumb of your supporting hand. The rail mount is plenty long. It fits my full size PX4 but the mount itself still protrudes past the end of the gun. This isn't a big deal.
Pros: Versatile, Durable, BRIGHT
Cons: None so far...
