Pros:  Hey... Neoprene! Keeps out the bad stuff.
Cons:  Sewing coming apart, losing elasticity.

After a period of being on however and due to the fact it really has no elastic band on the bottom edge, it is losing elasticity and beginning to stiffen after less than 90 days. The sewing is unwraveling on the bottom a bit and that gets snaggy real quick on picatinny rails. OK for 10$ but not for 20$ in my book. Coming as a package with a sight it's not a bad deal, though.
