Serengeti progressive drivers gradient

by Robert Van Gelder, from United Arab Emirates, ABU DHABI Written on July 30, 2014
These glasses are for my profession the best I ever owned, since I need reading glasses because of my age.
My profession is Airline pilot, presently flying Boeing 777 aircraft worldwide. Up there, at altitude, the sun is very bright, especially when clouds are present. Lots of ultra violet light can damage your eyes. Therefore you need good sunglasses. However, you also look inside, watching the instrument panel, and looking at your flight plan and charts. The progressive lenses make that easily possible, without having to take off your sunglasses all the time and putting on the reading glasses.
All in one, and the best protection!...
Pros:
  • excellent protection in bright sunlight
  • no need to changes glasses all the time
  • reasonable price
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • Flying, driving

Velocity aviator sunglasses

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on January 18, 2014
As an air lie pilot, I tried manny types of sunglasses. First straight glasses without correction. Then as I grew older, I needed progressive lenses for in the cockpit; reading distance, instrument panel and distance. Especially in low light conditions corrective glasses are a necessity!
Pros: progressive serengeti glasses possible!
Cons: none...

Best investment this summer

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner Written on July 19, 2013
The glasses are so light you berely notice them. I wear them from sunrise till sunset, sometimes even after sunset. The progressive trivex in 8 base curve works great. They only come in Polar Phd wich will effect how you see LCD displays on your phone, dash or computerscreen.
Pros: Super light weight. Very relaxing for the eyes.
Cons: only polar trivex avalible...

Over 5 weeks and still have not received my glasses

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, CO Written on April 16, 2011
You ask for my review, but I STILL have not received my glasses!
I ordered my prescription sunglasses more than 5 weeks ago and you fully charged my credit card the very next day. I have checked with your Customer Service a few times trying to find out what's gone wrong, and the responses have occasionally been fairly curt, almost rude.
So,,, you really Don't want my review of your service....
