I ordered the black frame which turned out to be back-ordered from Serengeti. I was contacted by staff and offered options or cancellation of the order. I chose another color frame and am very satisfied with both the product and the service.
I specifically chose the Serengeti, Driver's Gradient lenses for flying. The lense color creats superb contrast, particularly for reading cloud and moisture for soaring flight. The gradient allows clear reading of the instrument panel with less tint in that field of view.
Highly recommended.
The Best.

I'm on my third pair of Serengeti's (not because any of the others broke or were lost, but just because I love them that much and like to have a pair everywhere). Honestly after first hearing about them and trying them out, I saw the difference immediately, and I can't see how anyone would wear anything else after trying them (especially if your job or activities have you out in the sunlight a lot or varying light conditions). They're the only lenses I would recommend to anyone.

The best Sunglasses for Commercial Pilots I have had. The lens are top quality (in some cases such as light haze it actually improves visibility!). Useable at wide range of lighting conditions and I rarely take them off during day flights. Very effective in takeoffs and approaches in low angle sun.

Very light and confortable to wear, with almost no glare coming in from around the edge of the glasses. Not polarised so they don't play havoc with the EFIS screens in the cockpit and you can see everything under the glare shield easily even when flying into full sun. Excellent glasses
