Given the stresses normally applied to a sling mount, I think an allen head or normal bolt head style would work better. This type of finger tighten is easy to move, etc but if you want a solid semi-permanent mount you have to scratch the head with pliers, or something similar.

Pros:  Its cheap and does exactly what I need it to. Easily mounts on a picatinny rail and stays there. No need to spend 3 times the amount on overpriced sling mounts. You'll be happy with this.
Cons:  Had a little bit of a problem attaching the sling adapter to the mount. The pin on the adapter didn't slide very easily into the whole, but it worked out fine with a little gun oil and elbow grease.

I had put a forward grip on my AR which had a flashlight holder. The under mount sling adaptor prevented me from using a flashlight because the sling was in the way. I installed the Shooters ridge adaptor on the side of the picatinny rail. Problem solved.
