This bag is simply just a better way to transport your chrony and it's essential pieces instead of re-using the original box. The padding gives the case a nice feel, but it's not really dense enough to protect it from any substantial drops or bumps. But the padding should be plenty good enough to keep it from getting scratched or banged up if thrown in your range bag with everything else.Easy access from the top to any part individually is nice, instead of having to dig to the bottom of the box to get the poles out. Overall I'm happy with the bag. Looks good and does it's job. No complaints. And as always, got it for the best price I could find from Optics Planet.
