This is the third Simmons 22 Mag scope I've purchased. It is a reliable scope and gives a good clear sight picture. Targets are bright and easily seen. The focus ring is easy to use with gloves. The only down side is that the Matte Silver looks cheap and looks "sprayed" on. The Matte Black looks much better. But I have a stainless steel Ruger 10/22 and thought it would match.

The other two 30/30 rifles do just as well @ the same yardage . The 44 Rifle I have zeroed @ 100 yards , and it will hold a 2 inch group also with the same scopes , using my own reloads .... Factory Ammo Will Not" shoot ...

I have had this scope for 3 weeks and have put about 250 rounds through it. Have been too busy to really enjoy it! This is a well-made and easy to mount scope. For the low price it is much nicer than I expected. This is the first scope I have mounted myself and I had to look around the internet for some good articles on the topic--google is your friend. The other minor glitch was that at first I did not tighten the mounting screws of the rings tightly enough so the scope moved after zeroing in. Now that it is zeroed in it works perfectly on a Marlin 60 22LR. My wife is just learning to shot. She put seven shots within less than an inch at 25 yds right on the bullseye the first time she used this scope. I asked her how she liked it and she said it makes shooting too easy. That about sums it up. Our use for the scope is targets and cans and for that it will be just perfect. If there is any downside it is simply that it is large and you have to learn to be careful not to bang it ...
