Good bang for the buck

by live2fly1, from United States, CA Written on August 2, 2014
Purchased this with little expectations due to the price in comparison to what other products are listed at. It ranges targets well, obviously the further away the more time and care need to be exercised in order to lock on.

Over all, simple and easy to use. A good, inexpensive rangefinder....
Pros:
  • Inexpensive
  • Easy to operate
Cons:
  • None

Good For the $$$$

by Seth Pickens, from United States, AR Written on July 31, 2014
Bought this rangefinder for my girl friend because it had decent reviews and at the time there was a $30 mail in rebate. With that being said don't let the cheap price fool you or sway you from purchasing. Runs off of a 9 volt battery and gives quick precise readings. I also like the digital display readout when using the rangefinder. Havent tried any extremely long ranges yet but 300-10 yards it ranges very quickly....

Nice rangefinder that is pretty accurate. Not real fancy but gets the job done. Comes with a carrying case but it would be nice if they included a lanyard for this thing.
Pros: great price, Accurate
Cons: No lanyard...

Good for Money

The focus window is too large for distance targets that are varmint size.
Pros: Easy to use. Fast response
Cons: Not good for small long range targets/varmints....

GREAT GENERAL PURPOSE / ENTRY LEVEL

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on January 21, 2013
This device is great for surveying lot dimensions in real estate, for cross-referencing distances between buildings on an institutional setting (schools, etc.), and for hunters.
It's a great value and beats the socks off the competition for other similar rangefinders. Easy to read, easy target acquisition (remember the reflectivity needs of the device), and easy switching between units of measure (yards, meters, etc.).
Make your own hard case or find a better one such as you might find in a camera department, the factory pouch only holds it, doesn't protect it.
Pros: EASY TO START / EASY TO READ / ACCURATE
Cons: SOFT POUCH DOESN'T PROTECT DEVICE...

The price made it worth it

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on January 13, 2013
Its good to about 300 yards if it finds a surface it likes. Its real good inside 200 yards. The claim of 600 yards is only hitting a well lit store front window in the dark. Any other time 300 is its max usable range.
Pros: Price
Cons: Optics...
