Overall, still a good scope. Glass is pretty decent, but would still put it a little lower than a bushnell 3200. The New features seem to make it worth the money. Only thing that I would wish to be better would be with having the clicks when adjusting be a little more sharp. As far as taking recoil, can't say. I have mine mounted on a heavy barreled target .22, But it seems to track well when adjusting elevation and windage.
