This scope is sharp and clear and has very good optics. It works well in low light situations. My Simmons have the best optics of any scopes I have tested. I have tested it on two rifles and it has proven accurate and predictable when sighting in. I really like the side focus feature. It is very convenient way to adjust the parallax. The feature that like most in the Prohunter scope is the extended eye box as it makes a safer installation on a high recoil rifle. It has the longest eye box of any scope I have used. The AETEC scope has a more responsive side focus function and a little better optics which makes it better as a varmint scope. The Pro Hunter scope shows less focus effect with the side focus control, but has a much longer eye box which makes it ideal for a high recoil rifle. All in all this is a great scope.
