Great optics for watching game even in low light,I use them every day, great depth of field (in focus) so you can set it and forget it.I also like the generous eye relief so I can use them without removing my glasses....

Fantastic optics

by TJ, from United States, CO Written on October 27, 2014
I'm amazed by the clarity of these binoculars. I work on the Colorado plains and binoculars are very handy to have. These are very rugged and I have no doubt they will serve me well for years to come....

Steiner 7x50 Marine Binoculars

by Mike, from United States, TX Written on August 31, 2014
These binoculars are clear and bright. The sports focus is a great feature. Just adjust for your eyes and everything you look at is in focus. No need for adjustment. The rubber armor coating is great for gripping with wet hands. I plan to use these at sporting events, the beach and for target shooting....
Pros:
  • Clear optics
  • Brightness
  • Sports focus
Cons:
  • a little on the heavy side
  • cheap neck strap

Warranty Issues

by Cbar, from United States, WA Written on August 26, 2014
I purchased Steiner binoculars to see buoy numbers, boat names, and to locate tuna. The Steiner binoculars receive 5 stars for clarity. My concern is with the warranty. Steiner made its reputation on quality products and a Heritage Warranty that was good for the life of the product whether you were the original owner or not. The owners manual now says 10-year warranty if you fill out a warranty card and save the original sales receipt. No warranty card was included with the binocular package. I wrote to Steiner and have received no reply. It looks like an American company has purchased the Steiner brand and is reducing quality as a first step to raising profits. Does anyone else know what happened to this fine product?...

Best low light bino yet

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on September 28, 2013
This is why Porro prism binos rule. Far better 3 dimensional image quality than with the "flat" roof prism binos. Extensive depth of field helps avoid the constant hassle of focusing all the time, another advantage of this Porro design. Finally the shape fits my hands better than the skinny Porro prism binos and the center of gravity stays close to you since they're wide instead of being long. Makes them far more comfortable and more secure to hold and minimizes the apparent weight. Brightness of the image is the final bonus, thanks to the large exit pupil, and dense quality glass.

Pros: Excellent depth of field (wide range in focus), great 3 dimensional image, best low light binocular used so far
Cons: Wish I could take pictures with it!...

Brilliant Binoculars

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on August 24, 2013
Brilliant binoculars without spending 10x the price. Rugged/ heavy duty that will take drops and abuse. The rear ocular lens cover is one piece. In order for the cover to stay on the binoculars must stay expanded or it will just fall off. Overall excellent value.
Pros: Excellent Glass
Cons: Ocular lens cover is one piece....
