My Streamlight Argo lived through a 54 day trip through Africa unscathed. It got rained on, stepped on, slept on, fell off our overland truck and kept going. It lived through the rain, mud, humidity, dust, and every other natural condition that Africa threw at it. It's lightweight and very comfortable once adjusted. The light can be adjusted up and down and stays in its set position with a nice positive click. Seals are excellent. Power is great and despite just 24 lumens, it lights up a walking path just fine. Low power is great for around the campground or reading. Just be sure to have a good supply of CR123A batteries with you. They can be VERY hard to find overseas and if you can find them, they are ridiculously expensive.
