Quality Light

by Mscoanhxc, from United States, KS Written on March 21, 2015
Great value. High quality light for the price. I mounted it on a Sig P250 .45 compact pistol without any issue. The included mounting keys are very complete and seem to cover a wide range of pistols. The light functions perfectly. It is plenty bright for this application. My only complaint, which is very minor, is the small "chrome" ring where the light separates to change the battery. I would prefer it to be black. This can be easily corrected with paint or sandpaper....

Weapons Light

by Ron, from United States, FL Written on March 9, 2015
I purchased this light to put on my Glock 23 which is my bedside gun.
The price was better than any place else on the TLR-3 and the light is first rate with easy installation.
I am very pleased with my purchase and the fast delivery....

Streamlight TLR-3

by High Country, from United States, NC Written on March 9, 2015
The Streamlight TLR-3 is a good basic weapons light. It produces a high quality light that gives high intensity light over a 30 - 40 foot area and beyond outdoors, indoors it really lights up the house and is simple to operate - no complicating buttons to fumble with. It was very easy to install on my Sig 320, but a word of caution....it comes with a small baggie containing several different adapters which enables it to fit several different weapons models. This baggie also includes 2 E clips which are very small and black, so if you're a little careless when you dump out the adapters you might loose them - they secure the mounting screw so they're very important. Overall I am very pleased with the light it does exactly what I bought it for....

Great Compact Light

by Tim, from United States, CA Written on February 1, 2015
Great compact light that is able to attach to multiple rail types. Installed it on a Walther PPQ and it fit very well. May not be bright enough for outdoor use but, if the intended use is to be indoors like inside a house, it's perfect. Lights up a room, and the target very well....

Good light.

by D Best, from United States, ID Written on December 19, 2014
The TLR-3 is a good light for the money (mine was on sale for $70). The compact size coupled with the adaptability for a multitude of pistols makes it a great choice. This American made, 125 lumens light is good to go. Mine is on a full sized S&W M&P .45....

Great tac-light!

by Mike G., from United States, TX Written on December 14, 2014
Just to clarify the product shown has been updated and does not look exactly the same as the picture shown. It has a silver ring around the light cap so it's not completely black. I would have preferred it not have this but it still looks great and is more inline with other Streamlight products! It fits on nicely on my Walther PPQ using the (F) key. It does extend about 1/2 inch past the 4" barrel but when fired does not get dirty or heated from the blast. It is easy to use, light weight, at a great price and very well built. I would happily pull the trigger on this light again and again! Buy with confidence, you wont find a better light at this price range. Truthfully you really don't need to get a more expensive light unless you just want to spend more money for something that will do the same job. Streamlight makes excellent weapon lights and the TLR-3 though inexpensive is no exception....
Pros:
  • light weight
  • Watertight
  • Well Built and Solid
  • price/performance
Cons:
  • none was so ever
Best Used for:
  • home protection

Great light overall

by Jon, from United States, MA Written on October 30, 2014
Love this light! I was looking at the Streamlight TRL series lights and the TLR-3 is the perfect compact pistol light for me. Has ambidextrous controls with momentary and constant on settings for every situational use. The light fits almost all of my pistol rails with a quick swap of the bottom plate. Easy to take on and off and requires no special tools. Performs on par with the surefire lights for a better price. 10/10 would recommend....
Pros:
  • GREAT PRICE
  • bright light
  • Easy to install
  • ambidextrous
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • tactical light for any pistol

Great light

by DP, from United States, CA Written on August 29, 2014
Bought this light for my Glock 19 as a replacement for my TLR 1. I did not care for the fit of the TLR on my G19. Being smaller in size than the TLR1, it was a perfect fit for the smaller frame G19. I'm very happy overall with this light and price. The only complaint was trying to find a holster for my pistol with the TLR3....
