Bright light fairly well focused for Luxeon, used on a 2 week overseas camping trip at least 2 hrs/night and never had to replace the batteries. Had same model previously but alkaline battery leaked and ruined the head/led/switch mechanisms. This time I'm using Lithium AA batteries.
