I've heard complaints about the TLR-1 loosening on the p226 but experienced no such issues after hundreds of rounds. Unfortunately the TLR-1, for me, extends a bit too far past the muzzle and as a result powder and residue will slowly begin to cover the lens. Nothing a quick wipe won't fix.

The TLR-1S light is perfect for my home defense weapon now I'm retired. Optics Planet is a class act company that I have used in the past and will continue do to so in the future.
