The product is excellent on what it intented to do. The attached battery latch and lumens are are plus compared to the standard one. The unit ride underneath my G23. It flushed nicely w/ the triger guard; unlike Glock light hanging on surpassed. For the two's, I definitely prefer the STREAMLIGHT.

Pros: Sturdy, solid
Cons: For shorter barrels, extends too far
Would recommend: yes

I've heard complaints about the TLR-1 loosening on the p226 but experienced no such issues after hundreds of rounds. Unfortunately the TLR-1, for me, extends a bit too far past the muzzle and as a result powder and residue will slowly begin to cover the lens. Nothing a quick wipe won't fix.

I have used Streamlights for 25 years while in law enforcement. My first law enforcement light was a used SL 20 that was given to me. It still works. The TLR-1S light is perfect for my home defense weapon now I'm retired. Optics Planet is a class act company that I have used in the past and will continue do to so in the future. You just can't go wrong here. Tried and True !

Mounted to my gun and can access the switch but would have liked options to change direction of momentary and permanent on. Throws effectively to about 35-40 yards in my backyard.

Very ligthweight, hardly notice it on my pistol. Very easy to use rocker switches, both with the strong hand index finger as well as the support hand thumb on the other side. Both the C4 LED and the beam it produces all you need for both street carry and home defense. Would without a doubt make this purchase again. Extremely quick delevery as well.

Great Light. Easy to take off/on. I carry my duty weapon off duty and constantly take the light off since I can't find a pancake holster for a light.
