Excellent light. Easy to set up and install. I have one on my M4 and one on my Glock 17. Easy to change keys for different rails, easy to install and remove. The new lights are brighter than the older ones. I have my older one on my G17, and put the new one on my M4. I see no reason to buy any other weapon light.
Outstanding Light!! New C4 Rocks!!!

I bought the TLR-1 back in May and it was bright. Then I purchased the TLR-1 again back in July. It just shipped in September due to backorder, but the new TLR-1 came with a sticker that said 2X Brighter!!! I see that it comes with a C4 LED now. I just wanted to say that it is much brighter that the old TLR-1. It also has the orange peel reflector that makes a more even flood light. This light rocks!!!

It is a very sturdy flashlight. The led is bright and shockproof. I think it is a much better value than a Surefire.

Pros: BRIGHT, SMALL AND COMPACT, SNAPS ON AND OFF THE RAIL NO TOOLS SO YOU CAN USE IT ON OR OFF THE GUN QUICKLY.
Cons: CHANGING BATTERIES IS HARD, BUT YOU DO NOT DO IT OFTEN
Would recommend: yes

THE ROCKER ON OFF MAKES IT REAL EASY TO ADAPT THE LIGHT IN DIFFERENT PLACES. THE ONLY THING I WOULD ADD IS A FOCUS FOR THE BEAM SO YOU WOULD GET A POINTED BEAM IF YOU WANTED. THE BEAM SHINES OUT AND LIGHTS TO THE SIDES ALSO, WHICH IS GOOD MOST OF THE TIME. SO COMPACT IT FITS IN FRONT OF MY SCOPE. CAN NOT BELIEVE THE BRIGHTNESS FOR THE SIZE.
Awesome Light!!!

This light is AWESOME!!! It is about as simple as a tactical light can be, with an ambidextrous rocker switch. It even comes with 3 different bases so that it can be used with most any rail setup. The LED is SUPER bright and projects a perfect white light. This is definetly the way to go for home protection, duty or any other use.

This is very well made and is pretty bright. I would want one just a little brighter and a strobe would be nice, but this will actually do the job and do it well.

Using the light for "duty" use on patrol rifle. Has strong enough beam for CQB. Have had great results up to approx 35 yards on dark night.

Pros: Easy to mount, easy to operate with either hand, bright
Cons: Poor battery life for an LED
Would recommend: yes

This light works out great for my P226. Easy to mount, pretty darn bright (I wouldn't want it any brighter, I think the reflection would be blinding to me!). Easy to operate with both hands. Can be used for momentary brightness or constant "on". My only gripe about it is that for an LED, the battery life doesn't seem to be that long (~1 hour?) before it starts fading. Overall value for the money is pretty darn good though! If I was to do it again, I think I'd drop the $ to get the TLR-2 with the laser. Keep in mind that it's difficult to find a holster that will let you leave your light mounted.
