Pros: Small, veraitile, easy to set up
Cons: Laser should be mounted at the top of the unit so it's closer to the barrel
Would recommend: yes

The TRL-2s is a well made and so far durable piece of equipment. The remote switch is a perfect addition for any long gun application and fits perfectly on foregrips made for this purpose. The strobe feature simple requires practice to activate. I mounted this on an AR-15 and have fired about 100 rounds through it so far. After the first round it stopped working but after a couple of light taps it started working again and has preformed as advertised ever since. I assume the first round recoil unseated the batteries. The laser is easily aquired in bright daylight out to about 30 yards. It can be seen further out but you have to work for it. This fact led me to zero it at 30 yards for close in work and rely on an Aimpoint red dot scope that is mounted topside for anything further out. I have the red dot zeroed at 100 yards which for my purposes is a perfect combination for home defense/varmit work.
The very best.

The product mounts easily to picatinny rails. The only issue I had was that there were no instructions for installing the remote switch and battery door. Not too difficult to figure out, but I had to do some needless trial and error.

Had to go look up on the web about how to get the light to strobe. No instructions on the key feature are included. Otherwise a solid product as always from Streamlight.

All in all it's a great little flashlight/laser combo but after fiddling with the zero on my laser it seems the laser is off cant now and I can't get it to adjust elevation properly.

Great light! Upgraded from the TLR-1 to the TLR-2 on my primary weapon and it exceeds my expectations. The TLR-1 is now on another weapon and still going strong. Only downside is the cost, but I guess you get what you pay for.

Given that I often have problems installing anything, I loved the fact this was easy to both install and align. I am quite happy with it and I found a Fobus holster that fits both the gun and light extremely well.

Pros: Very bright LED! Strobe feature is a plus. Laser works very well too.
Cons: None
Would recommend: yes

I bought this to put on my Glock 17. Went right on and with minor adjustment got sighted in easily. LED is very bright and with the strobe is a perfect tactical light. The laser is excellant and projects a clear beam for a long distance. Only comment is the battery door was a challenge to open, but once I figured it out, no problem.
