Pros:  Easy install, tight fit, not too heavy
Cons:  Bulky and side rails do not meet 1913 spec
Would recommend:  yes

Johnnyonthespot wrote:

The side rails will not work with LaRue Tactical mounts - the center of the recoil lug is cutout does not probide sufficient backup. The sides will only work with cross-bolt mounts. The side rails also do not have clearance for a Thorntail due to the rubber barrel shroud almost touching the underside of the rail. Only the bottom rail is usable in my opinion. I also am not a fan of how bulky the rail is and removed it due to this aspect. Having said that, it is still the best forend rail on the market for the M4, but it is priced way too high for what it is.

Pros:  Solid. Lots of rail mountable options. Counts as a 922(r) compliant part.
Cons:  Expensive. Heavier than OEM plastic handguard.
Would recommend:  yes

uscmCorps wrote:

Though not cheap, this product is solid, allows for installation of a variety of rail mountable accessories, and counts as a 922(r) compliant component. Things I'm not crazy about: (1) Price, (2) adds a fair bit of weight, (3) could benefit with a recess for installing tape switches, and (4) the thickness of the rubberized buffer that separates the rail from the barrel is so thick, it prohibits many canted offset light mounts (like LaRue's LT752, and Gearsector's Scout (GS-3120) or X-series (GS-3140) light mounts) from being installed on the M80 rail. Overall though ... It's an excellent accessory.

Pros:  Comes assembled, easy to install, well made
Cons:  Too expensive
Would recommend:  yes

urracadan wrote:

Functional, solid, well made, easy to install. Installed on my M4 in 90 seconds. Will install tangodown vertical foregrip and surefire light as soon as I recieve them. Machined for my Benelli perfectly. I suppose that's why it was so outragiously expensive. Looked at many other mounting options but the M80 is by far the sturdiest most functional best option out there

Pros:  Good construction. 3 Rails
Cons:  Cost. No integrated light.
Would recommend:  yes

travisduyck wrote:

This is the best after market rail system for this weapon system. Surefire needs to make an integrated light/rail system as they did for the Benelli M1. This rail system is the next best thing. On the down side, it cost a lot. However, you get what you pay for.

Author: Alteon180e from Florida on Feb 15, 2010
Pros:  Perfect fit one piece replacement for OEM grips with rails
Cons:  Price is still high for what it is.
Would recommend:  yes

Alteon180e wrote:

Great way to add rails to your benelli m4. simply slide the barrel out like you would for any cleaning, let the oem grips fall out and replace with this one piece. it slides right back in. fastest rail/handguard install for me yet. rails are numbered comes with cheap rail covers to cover all 3 sides. easy to cut them to make room for addons. placed my stubby foregrip and flashlight on the rails, on like glue, no wiggle. when ur cleaning just be mindful of your extremely expensive new handguard since it now has add ons of value. i almost dropped my flashlight on concrete twice...
