Terrific Carrier

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on April 23, 2013
Extremely well built and very much like the fact that it is US made. Stitching is top notch and adjusts easily. Only (minor) complaint would be the webbing on the multicam one is tan so it breaks up the camo.
Pros: solid construction, US made
Cons: webbing is not color matched on multicam...

TAG Plate Carrier "Multicam"

Don't think twice about choosing this item. Hands down the best well made plate carrier for the money. Tons of MOLLE to load it just how you want it. It can handle Level IIIA and Level 4 plates ran together with ease. Easily comparable to carriers 3 times its price.
Pros: Well made, Price, lots of space
Cons: No mesh for hot weather...

Best Carrier For The Money

by Legacy Reviewer, Written on August 18, 2012
I recieved my carrier as usual on time and in perfect condition. I threw in my SAPI plates and my IIIA NIJ standard Kevalr sheets to bring my protection up to level 4 it all fits comfortably in the armor pockets. There is also side protection pockets, you could install a small SAPI plate or a small square of kevlar for extra protection. The molle is tan and not ATACS but it actually does not look out of place it blends in well. The carrier also has has enough molle loops to fit alot of accessories. I threw on a TAG three AR and three pistol mag in ATACS on the front, it fits perectly center heres the MPN# 813421 and you dont have to worry about the camo matching becuase its from the same company. All in all I am very plesed with my purchase absolutley one the best carriers for the money you wont regret buying this if your looking for a high quality low cost plate and soft armor carrier why spend $450 or more for the same thing.

Pros: Fits Just About Any Size SAPI Plate With Room For Kevlar Backing
Cons: Molle Is Tan And Not ATACS Camo ...

TAG is having QC ISSUES!!!!

by Legacy Reviewer, Verified Owner from United States, TX Written on December 1, 2011
I'm now dealing with OpticsPlanets VERY CONFUSING return policy, FINALLY (2-1/2 hrs LATER!) found a TAG supervisor who told me THEY would fix it, but I would have to pay the $20 to ship it back, VERY DISAPPOINTING, will be satisfied when it returns in CORRECT buckle configuration!!!
Pros: Great vest... When buckles are in BACK as should be
Cons: I received my Plate Carrier with the buckles on the FRONT, and they are supposed to be in THE REAR! OpticsPlanets' picture even shows it in front on 2nd look!!! BIG PROBLEMS!...
