Talley Scope Rings

by gtxpro2, from United States, MA Written on December 20, 2014
I recommend these there rings for mounting any scope. I returned the lows for a set of mediums for a 42mm Nikon scope as it was mounted too low to the receiver. The lows would probably be good for a 35mm or 32mm lens....

Just what I was looking for

by Myron, from United States, NV Written on September 7, 2014
I had recently purchased a Winchester model 70 rifle to which I would mount my Leupold scope using their standard reversible bases and low rings to. However,in my case, the rear base would only work in the reverse direction to allow the bolt to be fully operational. (The bolt handle would hit the windage adjustment skrew) So consequently, I had to reverse them!(Not my Ist. choice) And, both bases overlapped.(The Breach by about 1/4" while the front overlapped the same amount from the receiver onto the barrel) Not the cleanest looking installation! Before my purchase of this rifle, I had Winchesters 2014 catalog which showed their rings & bases.(none in Silver finish though) So I called Winchester to make sure they didn't offer that version. They said there wasn't enough demand for that finish, but they did give me the manufacturer of their integrated bases (Talley rings). So I went on talleyrings.com website to see if they offered a Silver version to what Winchester offered. They did! So I called Talley to make sure the model I picked out from their website was workable for my application. Consequently, Talley pointed me to Optics Planet. I would highly recommend this type of ring & base configuration to the perfectionist. Very clean and proper fitting. No overhanging in either direction!...

Top quality one-piece rings

by tgltexas, from United States, TX Written on September 3, 2014
Talley lightweight aluminum one-piece rings are the bomb! These are the ONLY rings I use on my rifles. I've had two-piece rings come loose in the middle of hunting trips and it was getting rather annoying, so once I found these Talley one-piece rings I've never bothered looking back. They are high quality, lightweight, and they give your rifle a clean appearance...what's not to like?...
Pros:
  • Lightweight

Perfect fit for my Kimber 84M .308. Mounted a Leupold 4.5 X 14 X 56, 30mm on the low mounts. Snug as
bug in a rug. Looks great, shoots straight. Great service, and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely
order from y'all again/...

Nice Mount

by JoeBiss06, from United States, MI Written on August 30, 2014
This mount has a very easy set up. Fits perfect on the Pro Hunter, with enough room to access the hammer. The only thing is, make sure to read the sizes correctly. I needed a 1" and accidently ordered the 30mm. Overall good product....
Pros:
  • Easy setup
Cons:
  • None

Pa Muzzleloader Hunter

by Jim. S., from United States, PA Written on August 27, 2014
I put this one piece on my TC Omega. Very simple. What I liked about it
Was very simple to install and fit like a glove on my gun.
I would recommend this product to anyone in need of mount and rings. I would also recommend getting the high version
Of the mount. The reason being the smaller size I had difficulty putting my
Thumb inbetween the scope and trigger.
Good product would reccomend it....
Pros:
  • None
Cons:
  • Little pricy

Great Rings

by Legacy Reviewer, from United States, WA Written on March 13, 2014
Bought these rings for a Browning A Bolt 308. The rifle has a stainless finish and I couldn't believe that Talley offered a set in stainless finish. I have searched high and low for a one piece scope mount set up. These are great rings, I will order more in the future.
Pros: Nice peice, nice finish, user friendly
Cons: none...
